Sample letter to announce joining of a new employee

I am glad to announce that we shall soon have a new employee joining us in the Software Testing department. Ms. XYZ shall be joining our company (name) from 1st March as a (position).

XYZ is apt in her skills as a software engineer and she is bringing along an experience of 5 years in the field of (name of field). She has previously worked with one of our biggest competitors, ABC Ltd and has been a very promising employee there with excellent work record and contributions.

XYZ has done MBA from (name of institution) and has got her B.tech degree from (name of institution). She shows good educational credential and an enthusiastic approach towards new projects.

She shall be under our mentor’s, (name) training for the first week of the joining and shall then be joining the team of (name of team and department) for our new project (project name). I request those who are already a part of this project to get along with XYZ and guide her with the progress of the project.

I shall appreciate if all of you join me in welcoming XYZ and cooperate with her.
