This is to inform you that I have Savings Account No. 000000000 maintained with your Bank. I regret to inform you that I will not be in a position to go on continuing to operate the same as I have to leave my present address permanently. It may also not be possible for me to open a fresh Bank Account at the place where I am going to put up till such time I am fully settled there in the new environments.

Otherwise, I could have of course opened a bank Account immediately with the same bank of yours when the question of transferring the amount would have arisen. Under the circumstances, I would request you to close my Savings Account and arrange to pay me the balance amount in cash standing with my above Account. I am surrendering herewith the cheque book including requisition slip and the Pass Book for cancellation.
