Sample letter to claim Property
I am writing this with regard to claim the property which was on my deceased father’s name. I would like to inform you that my father Mr. Amit Joshi passed away last on 16th November.
Our flat in Bandra at Jasmine Apartments was on his name along with all the pertaining bills and documents. Since being his only son I am the legal hire to his property. I hereby request to kindly transfer the said property on name, thus making me the legal owner of the property.
For your reference I have enclosed all the relating documents along with the deed to the property. Since I am living there with my family I have been having lot of tax problem since my father’s death. Therefore it would solve a lot of my issues if u would just transfer the property to my name.
I look forward to a quick resolution to my claim. Hope you will look into the matter and do the needful payment soon. Thanking you in anticipation.
