I am about to buy a plot of land in the XYZ area for the development of a branch of my office. I was approached by an agent named, ABC who claimed that the land was for sale. I would like to confirm if the plot of land is a private or a government property.

The agent has taken an advance amount of Rs. XXXXX from me and has promised to proceed with the further registration process of the land after a period of 1 month.
A meeting was arranged by the agent and I have met the claimed owner of the land in person. He claims to be a businessman settled in UK and wants to sell off his private property.
I request you to notify me if the aforementioned details are true or not. If the claims are true, I request you to please send me a copy of the land registration document of the plot and the forms needed to approve the sale deed.
I further request you to inform me if the plot is under any kind of dispute or objections for sale. I would be grateful if you can reply me within 2 days with the details of the plot and the person who claims to be its legal owner.
