I am resigning from the post of assistant teacher at New Era High School from December 7, 2014. I have decided to resign from my current post, following a job offer at London. I appreciate the school’s offer to renegotiate my salary, but I am unable to continue working in my present position.
I will be employed as a full time teacher at London’s Oxbridge High School and I have decided to accept this position. I am providing three weeks’ notice so that you can hire a replacement for my current work position. Working as an assistant teacher at New Era High School has been an enriching experience for me.
After graduating from Bright Minds Teacher Training Institute, I was delighted to receive a job offer from your institution. Through my 2 years at this school, I have learnt all about professionalism and the importance of being committed to delivering quality education.
My colleagues and superiors have guided me through difficult phases of my career and I have grown personally as well as professionally as a result of my work here. I regret that I will be leaving all of you and going to London for the new teaching position. I am really looking forward to working as a teacher.
I would like to convey my gratitude to staff members and administrative assistants at New Era High School for their kind and cooperative attitude.

I would like to inform you that I am resigning from my position as Junior Financial Analyst for XYZ Internationals, effective March 1, 2014.
I have been offered a position of Senior Financial Analyst at ABC Internationals in the London Branch, with the high prospects to work there in many coming years. It is the role and place that I have been interested from a long time.
As per the terms of the company, I am ready to serve a notice period of 2 months; therefore the date on which I depart will be 1st May 2014. I have cherished every single moment spent in XYZ Internationals and have accepted all the challenges during this period as learning opportunity. I will always miss the bond and the team spirit that I found in this organization. My overall experience was great but it is the time to take a step ahead in life. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the management and the entire staff for the constant help and encouragement during these years. I wish company all the luck and success in coming years.
