All children are different with their own sets of capabilities and skills. The one activity that can boost confidence in one child can act as a fear factor for the other child. So, it is best to analyze what the children wants and allow them to become a master in their skills.

  • Having witnessed the adjective attached to the word 'sports' i.e adventure, paraphrases the meaning of discussion to a different context. Sports however is essential for building up confidence in children and children should be persuaded to take up those at an earlier stage like school itself.
But going for an adventure sports takes it to the next level of a person's comfort and safety, that if chosen with zeal might prove to be a major confidence booster but still as they say ''roses comes with thorns too ''!!

  • Developing confidence in children is really important to sustain the battle of life, but that does not necessarily come with the involvement in adventure sports. Adventure sport is one of the options to try out inducing confidence in those children who really look out for it. A forceful involvement would be no more than a burden on them.

Not all the children are fond of adventure activities. But it is one of the best options to fight their own fear factor. If the child wants and have the will power to get indulge into the sport, then this could be an appreciable move, as the child could compete and overcome his own fear in a sporty way. This could also help the child in the future to enjoy such sports throughout.

Again, the children who don’t show any inclination towards the adventure sports should not be compelled to participate in the same. A forceful involvement increases the chances of injury in the sports. The type and extent of the injury in such sports is much vast and dangerous as compared to other sporty activities.

Thus, to be precise, the adventure sport is not everyone’s cup of tea, and this is not a universal interest factor. This could be a good pass-time for those who want to get involved. The adventure sport should not be treated as a personality development program to boost confidence in the children.
