SNAP 2013 - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
SNAP, Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is conducted by SIU for admission to management programs at various Symbiosis institutes. Unlike till last session, from MBA program 2014-2015 onwards, the candidates interested in getting admitted to a management course at Symbiosis will not have to apply to each Symbiosis institute of their choice separately. The students can simply take the common SNAP test. Shortlisted candidates will appear for the Writing Ability Test (WAT) and PI, again a common exercise for all the Symbiosis institutes. From this year onwards, Group Exercise has been eliminated from the test.
This centralized admission process means that now there is a single registration process for MBA programs of all the institutes under SIU. This leads to reduction in the registration fee of the program for students.
The university will now use SNAP Test score and past academic performance as the basis to short list the candidates for WAT and PI.
The candidates can apply for the programs of their choice at the time of registration. The details of registration process and fees are available at the SNAP test website.
