What is the syllabus for KMAT entrance exam?

In KMAT entrance exams all the sections are same for both the combined pattern of MBA and MCA and for MBA only, except Logical Reasoning, as Logical Reasoning section is there only in KMAT entrance exam for MBA and MCA.

Syllabus is same for both the two patterns of KMAT entrance exams. Section wise syllabus for Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is:

- Language Comprehension
Questions covered in this section are from Reading Comprehension, Essay and English Usage. Reading comprehension and Essay writing can be on any of the topic, while English usage covers topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Preposition, Tenses and fill in the blanks.

- Mathematical Skills
Questions covered in this section are covered from the topics Arithmetic, Number systems, Time and Distance, Probability, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Geometry, Mensuration and Trigonometry.

- Basic Aptitude
Basic Aptitude is the general knowledge section of the question paper, where questions are asked from basic management and computer concepts.

-Logical Reasoning
This section is present in the KMAT – MBA & MCA combined exam. It covers topics such as Coding – Decoding, Linear and Circular Arrangements, Data Interpretation, Analogies, Dot Situation, Blood Relation, Venn diagram, Data Sufficiency, Analytical and Critical Reasoning, Questions based on caselets.
