The pros and cons of homeopathy
The pros and cons of homeopathy
The contemporary lifestyle, the carefree attitude, the deadly disease, the expensive treatments, etc. are a part of today’s world. People are living an unhealthy life style and even for a small problem they rush to doctors to get medicines. If you see in the past, people were more dependent on Ayurveda or homeopathic medicines for the treatment. From last some time, homeopathy treatment is again talked about. Some people readily accept homeopathy while there is another group who don’t find it effective. So let us see what are the pros and cons of homeopathy:
Pros
• Homeopathic medicines are made from natural ingredients like herbs and spices derived from the natural sources.
• They are considered as safe form of medicines for the pregnant women and children who are highly sensitive to the conventional forms of medicine.
• Homeopathic medicines have minimal effects on the human body. The side effects are not severe or affect the health significantly.
• Homeopathic medicines can always be used with the conventional forms of medicine.
• Homeopathy does not kill the pain for a shorter period; in fact it eliminates the root cause of the disease.
Cons
• The medicines may or may not be potentially effective on all the human beings. There is no surety of getting positive results.
• People think that they don’t need any specialist for homeopathy. They can be their own doctor. Attempting to take homeopathic medicines without prior consultation can be problematic.
• There are no strict regulations to know about the safety of homeopathic medicines. There no are no lab-created tests for homeopathic medicines.
• It is difficult to differentiate a good professional homeopathic doctor from a fake one.
• There are no homeopathic medicines for the severe diseases. In case of emergency, people cannot depend upon homeopathic treatment.
Conclusion
The scientists don’t believe in the homeopathic treatments. And the homeopaths cannot prove scientifically that the medicines work. The can just prove the effectiveness of the treatment by the successful cases. And practically it is what matters.

- Homoeopathy, as an alternative mode of treatment is by far the best one. Awareness being spreading among the masses has increased the scope of homoeopathic treatment across the country. The treatment has good effects in long standing troubles with the prospect of removal of the disease from root level.
The treatment has its short as well as long term actions with respect to the type of disease. It is a myth among people that homoeopathy takes long time for cure for every sort of health concern viz. fever, common cold etc. The effect of homoeopathic treatment depends on the knowledge of physician, extent of the disease, and the power of the medicine used.
Homoeopathy definitely cures the patients with disease on the curable extent, and a step ahead, it also controls the stage of the disease progress in the deteriorating cases. But definitely homoeopathy has its restriction with respect to the surgical cases. Not all the surgical cases can be dealt with homoeopathy. Also, a physician need to be qualified and experienced enough to handle the cases in emergency.
