Today’s Music or Yesteryear’s music - Which is better?
Music is often compared to the heartbeats and said as soul of life. It is one such thing that connects directly to the heart and has the power to change the emotions of people. It can make people dance, smile or cry. The old people and the younger generation can always be found in an unending debate where the both groups try to defend the music of their time. Also, there are many youngsters who consider the old music as the best music. What is your view? Which music is better?
Today’s Music
• Today’s music also has the singers and musicians of old time who have changed their styles as per the requirement.
• Check out the various forms of music available in the society so that you can know all the music of today is not bad.
• There are so many options and flavors available of music these days, more than the forms of music existed in the old times.
• The comparison of today’s music with yesterday’s music is done on extremely wrong platform. The good music of yesterday and all the good and bad of today’s music is compared. The bad compositions of past are not taken in account.
• The idea of yesterday music is better than the music of today is always present in all eras. It is nothing more than psychological thoughts.
Yesteryear’s music
• The music of yesterday represented a more balanced form of music with every element in it whether it was melody, harmony or rhythms.
• The musicians of yesterday were not only popular at the national level but were also recognized at the international platform. Now, the scene is when musicians come and go, no one knows.
• The music of today is more monotonous and repetitive with no variation in it. Most of them are composed to be run in pub parties or marriages.
• The lyrics of the yesteryear’s compositions were heart touching, meaningful and connected deep to the heart.
• The musicians of yesteryear didn’t made use of auto tune or synthesizers. They used to compose their own music and wrote unique lyrics to provide best listening experience.
Conclusion
The music of today is composed more on impulse, and is made to promote the movies. In the old days, songs were not used for promotion. They used to give real meaning to the movies. It is not that the all songs of today reflect poor composition. There are good ones but still the entire basket cannot match the depth of the yesteryear’s music. Also, it’s just the change of era, so differences will always be there.

Yes yesterday music is melodious it got smoothing and relaxing effect and the compositions had heart touching effect n deep meanings
But when it comes on quality music today music fit best into it
These new songs entertains new generation mood like party ,feel of romance and other feeling like freaking out with friends
And today songs gives music of new instruments and and new flavours with the help of technology in music industry
So yes comparing music in Oder of era is no suitable .with time we r caring good songs from past and and compositing new song in new mood and we have good music in new basket

- Yesterdays music was better because now music is just for dance and party there is no sweet there for listening.
Now music cause lot health issue like brain disease ear problem because due to high bass in music .early if you are in tension that music give lot of calm and healthy atmosphere .But not things have been changed .

- Music is a soothing sound that freshens the mind and gives a rejuvenated outlook. Music comprises of the lyrics, the composition, the way the lyrics is sung by the singers and the instrumentations used. All these combined or individually giving a rhythm comprises music. This could be of any era, of any pattern, type or sound. The music is the pleasing essence that one receives on hearing.
It would be unfair to call the music bad with respect to the era. Music could be good or bad by its implementation to the tracks. This has nothing to do with the generations. The music of yesterday is compared to today’s music just by single factor of melody. Music being in different shades and flavours, have different groups of audience. Today the music has spread its message worldwide and people could hear the music of any country. This was not the scenario in the past generation, when the masses got stuck to the regional concept of music. They didn’t have the value to respect the music beyond their region.
People have developed the taste of hearing to all sorts of beats and rhythm today. Though it is a fact that the playback and lyrics have lost their value in today’s era, with the loud beats over-shadowing almost every other aspect of music; still we do get to hear many melodious compositions today as well. Also, the beats do have a rhythm and those do have some value. The instrumental music used to be a form in the past which lack any playback; similar is the loud beat music of today, which has some lyrics that has no value to add to the composition.
Thus, to be precise, the music has always been good, there is no point discriminating the same with respect to the past or present. There always remain a group of people who favour some or the other form of music.
