Introduction to UPMCAT

UP Technical University conducts UPMCAT for admission to two year full time management courses like MBA / MMS / MIBM / MMEM / MTM / MCM / MFC at University departments and various other institutes. The candidates have to go through a written test, GD and PI.

Who’s Eligible?

- Candidates aspiring to appear for UPMCAT should possess a year Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or board.

- Candidates who are appearing for the final year exams of their graduation course are also eligible to take the test.

- UPMCAT is open only to Indian nationals.

- Different institutes ask for different qualifying marks in graduation.

How’s the test conducted?

- UPMCAT is a pen and paper based test consisting of multiple choice questions on Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical & Abstract Reasoning and Current Affairs.

Test Pattern

- Time: 2 hrs

- No. of questions: 100

- The test is usually conducted in the month of May every year.
