1. What is the examination for? Who conducts it?


VMUEEE is a reputed engineering examination in South India for registration in B.Tech. degree and as the name suggests, is conducted by Vinayaka Missions University. The university is responsible for conduction of exam and declaration of results.

2. What is/are the college/colleges covered under this examination?


VMUEEE covers 2 campuses for admissions in various streams available in the colleges:

- Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, Chennai

3. How to apply for VMUEEE?


There is no online procedure for admission in Vinayaka Missions University.

There are 2 ways of applying for the college.

1. Candidate must send a DD worth INR 800 in favour of “Vinayaka Missions University” alongside a letter of request mentioning the complete address and the interested branch/stream. The DD may be payable at Salem or Chennai.

What is the eligibility criterion?


Following are the eligibility criteria for VMUEEE:

1. Candidate must have passed his 10+2 with a CBSE or equivalent board on aggregate.

2. Candidate must have individually passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

3. For streams like Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biomedical, candidate must pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematic/ Biology.

4. For B.Arch courses a minimum of 50% aggregate is required and Mathematics is an essential subject in 10+2 or equivalent board.

4. What is the examination pattern of VMUEEE?


Vinayaka Missions University’s entrance examination is an offline one.

It consists of objective type multiple choice questions of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The duration of test is 3 hours.

For B.Arch. the questions are based on Mathematics and general aptitude.

5. What is the generalised selection procedure?


VMUEEE is a procedure for enrolling in Vinayaka Missions University and Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, Chennai for B.Tech.
Last date of filling application form is generally around Mid April and the examination is conducted generally by first week of May.
In around 3 weeks the results are declared following which students have to attend counselling and based on merit in VMUEEE seats are allotted.

6. What is the cost of application form?


As mentioned in Question 3. The application form can be filled by two methods requiring INR 800 and 700 respectively.

7. What reference books should be consulted?


The simple higher secondary examination preparation is enough. NCERT is as usual the key, any other equivalent book will do as well.
Apart from that you can consult last 10 years model test papers to get you familiar with the exam even more.
