What are methods to test the applications on Linux using RFT?

There are 2 methods to test the applications on Linux platform.

Method 1:

- Record the script on Windows platform.

- Export the recorded script to Linux platform.

- Play the script on Linux.

Method 2:

- Write the script using Test Object Insert tool.

- Populate the object map out of the recorder.

- Open the map selects the objects in the test application.

- Verification points can also be verified without recording.

- Use Script Explorer------> Verification Point to perform the verification.
