What are the files used by Progress language?
- Progress language uses the specialized procedure files that consist of text files and the information but don’t contain the procedures in the files.
- Progress files don’t have the same extension as the procedure files and they have other file extensions.
- The existing procedure files that are used from the editor to create the buffer have their own setbacks and not very compatible with the Progress language.
- The editing of the Progress language files that are associated with the buffer and an existing procedure files.
- The temporary files are saved in the buffer and after the session ends the Progress files are also saved.
