The planner of human resources must be aware of the corporate objectives as manpower planning is an integral part of corporate planning. HRP responsibilities should be centralized in order to co-ordinate consultation between different management levels. All personnel records must be completed. The impact of external forces like technological changes, changes in labour market composition etc need consideration while developing the human resource plan. Time horizon of the plan must be long enough to permit any remedial action. Plans must be prepared by skill levels.
