What capabilities or skills are required by a Nanotechnologist?

A nanotechnologist should have the knowledge about the various safety measures that should be taken while working and should also take up the environmental protection plans. They should be aware of the equipments that are used in this field and should take care of such equipments. A nanotechnologist should know the block co-polymer techniques and optical, e-beam, and ion beam lithography. A thorough knowledge of characterization skills e.g., optical, scanning probe, and electron microscopy are also required. As a nanotechnologist you should be good at problem solving, project management, team building, research methods, IP awareness, report writing, and presentation skills.
