What is GCET and it's eligibility criteria?

What is GCET?

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) at the state level test conducted by Gujarat Technical University for the admission to MBA program in the universities of Gujarat state. It is held once in a year.

What are the eligibility criteria to appear in GCET?

To appear in GCET, a candidate must have a degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates) from:
a. a University situated in the Gujarat State; or
b. a University situated outside Gujarat State but the candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from:
i. The Gujarat Board; or
ii. the school in which the candidate has studied must be located in the state of Gujarat.
OR
Final year student can also apply but their result must be declared at the time of admission.
