What is job analysis? And its process.
• It is the process for determining the duties and skills requirement of a job and the kind of a person who should be hired for this job. Generally it is done in two parts which are-job description and job specification.
• Job description is a list of duties, responsibility, reporting relationships and working conditions.
• Job specification is a list of job’s requirement i.e. the required skill, education, experience, personality, knowledge etc.
• After doing job description and specification other HRM activities like recruitment and
selection takes place.
