What is the eligibility to pursue the courses?
Candidate who has passed 10+2 in science or equivalent with physics, chemistry and biology/ mathematics will be eligible for admission to Bachelor, Diploma and Certificate course in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
However, there is a lateral entry criterion in Bachelor course for the candidates who have passed diploma course in prosthetics and orthotics in some colleges/universities. The candidates who have passed diploma course are eligible to admission in 3rd year of bachelor course.
For Master in Prosthetic & Orthotics one must have passed Bachelor in Prosthetic & Orthotics.
What are the durations of the courses?
1) Master in Prosthetics & Orthotics is of 2 years duration.
2) Bachelor in Prosthetics and Orthotics is of 4 years durations.
3) Diploma in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 2 1/2 years duration.
4) Certificate Course in Prosthetics & Orthotic is of 1 year duration.
Is there entrance examination?
Yes, most of the good and reputed Institutes and colleges give admission to the candidate on the basis of entrance examination.
