What safety measures are taken in factories act 1948 for moving machineries?
Following safety measures are taken for moving machinery:
a. Every part of an electric generator, a motor or rotary convertor; transmission machinery and every dangerous part of any other machinery shall be securely fenced and shall be constantly maintained
b. No woman or young person shall be allowed to clean, lubricate or adjust any part of a prime-mover or of any transmission machinery
c. A person who has received sufficient training can work at the machine under adequate supervision by a person who has a thorough knowledge and experience of the machine.
d. Suitable striking gear or other efficient mechanical appliance shall be provided near the machine.
