What should I do after 10 + 2 to make a career in jewellery designing?

After 10+2, I want to do my graduation in jewelry designing. Should I pursue my dream career right after 10+2 or is it wise to go for this only after a simple graduation in arts or commerce stream since I have heard that diploma courses are appropriate for a career in jewelry designing? I am confused about where to make a start from. Please help me take the initial step.

However, since you are confident about your future plans, I would advise that you must go for BDes from a reputed designing institute in India like National Institute of Fashion Technology instead of a normal graduation.
