What skills and qualities are required to be a good Dermatologist?

Apart from educational qualifications what other skills and qualities are required to be a Dermatologist?

A strong academic track record and a practical training are the basic prerequisites of good dermatologist. Being in medical field the dermatologists have to be both physically fit and mentally strong as they have to sometime stand for long and at odd hours. To diagnose a problem properly, the dermatologists have to constantly and effectively interact with their patients, which need good communication and interpersonal skills. As skin conditions can be unpleasant at some times, the dermatologists should be comfortable in dealing with the issues related to blood and bodily functions. And for doing surgery and delicate procedures of the treatment they must have a good control on their senses.
