When should I start preparations for the Civil Services interview?

While preparing for the Civil Service Examination, there is a huge lot of books and journals to be covered that hardly leaves any time other than the human hours to concentrate on the preparations for the interview. Please tell me when exactly I should start the preparations for the interview.

I would totally agree to the fact that the main exam preparation hardly leaves one with extra time for considering preparations for the interview. You must start the interview preparations right after the main exams are over. If you wish to take a break, you can start with a couple of hours for the preparations per day and consequently increase the time as the day starts nearing. In fact, you must start working on your pronunciations just when you are ducked with the preparations of the main exams. You can consider taking a break from the study material and instead recite something useful from the newspaper or journal and improvise as you move ahead. It would be wise if you do not plan on going for vacations away from study materials after the exams. The key to being thorough with the preparations is to allot increasingly more time and concentration as day progresses. Take the competition seriously and keep improvising your skills as a difference of just 15-25 marks would make a huge difference at the time of selection. Good luck!
