The child whose age is below then 14 years is not allowed to work in any factory. When a child age is between 14-18 years, he is consider as an adolescent and can work in a manufacturing factory.
Restrictions on employment of adolescent:
a. No child is allowed to work for more than four and a half hours in any day or night.
b. Children shall be allowed to work for two shifts which shall not overlap or not more than five hours each.
c. Only those adolescent who has been granted a certificate of fitness to work in a factory can only work in factory.
d. A separate register shall be maintained by the manager of every factory where children are employed.
e. No child is allowed to work on dangerous machines.
