Pharmacists are professional who practice in the field of pharmacy. They are health professionals not only provide prescribed medicines to patients but also give information about the medication which their doctors have prescribed to them. The also explain the instruction of the doctor to the patients so that the patients can use the medicine effectively. Pharmacists are often called chemists or druggists also.

What does a pharmacist do?


With their expertise about the chemical, biological and physical properties of drugs, pharmacists basically help the patient to get well. Their responsibilities include a variety of care for patients like:

- They must ensure medicines are suitable to patients

- They also supervise the production of medicines and ensure that pharmacy premises are fir for it.
- They also may complete third-party insurance forms and other paperwork
- They also monitor the health and progress of patients to ensure the safe and effective use of medication.
