The main objective of job evaluation is to establish satisfactory wage and salary differentials. The job evaluation process starts with defining objectives of evaluation and ends with establishing wage and salary differential. It is done with a series of steps. First of all a thorough examination of the jobs is done and then job description is prepared. Now one will compare one job with other and arrange the jobs in their correct sequence in terms of value to the firm. Lastly a relation of the sequence to a money scale is prepared.
