- If you have done your research well on the company, you should know what makes them different from others in the market and what makes them excel in the profession. Use the exclusive features of their company to explain how you could benefit from being a part of the organization. Tell them that their company is the place where you are interested in working and that the work description is also apt for you. Add that working with them would give an excellent direction to your career and how you would get to use your knowledge and experiences in the position.

- The reason why this question is put up to you is the interviewer wants to know about your career goals and how does this profile fit into your career goals. Secondly the interviewer is also inclined to know how much primary research have you done about the company and the profile you are being interviewed for and last but not the least understand which aspects of the company or the profile interest you and will motivate you to be with the company for a long term.
Avoid using clichés like it’s close to my house, or it’s a good company and brand hence I want to work here, or since there was an opening here I applied. Answers like these will leave a negative impression on the interviewer and will make him think that you are not serious about this profile or it does not come under your career goals.
A good answer will demonstrate a thorough knowledge about the company where in you could include details like general reputation of the company, values, positioning in the market, products that inspire and motivate you to join the company.
For example: With the help of my skills and past experience, I think I would be able to do full justice with this role and profile.
Or you could say that company X has a great brand position in the market and getting myself associated with the company will help me increase my knowledge and grow professionally.
