Your thoughts create reality!
“
As you think, so shall you become.”
– Bruce Lee
Our mind has awesome power, but most of us have never been taught to use it effectively. You become what you believe.
Your mind accepts the thoughts and believes that you often repeat, helping change your mindset, habits and actions. Let’s not underestimate the power of daydreaming; it creates a winning picture in your mind and catalyzes your vision from mere a daydream into reality.
Just having a goal alone doesn't help. If you don't imagine yourselves achieving it, chances are you won’t.
It is natural to see obstacles in your imagination but the truth is, we allow those problems to become so big in our mind that it inhibits us from moving forward. The barriers loom larger than potential gains and hold you back leaving you sad, worn out, depleted.
Envisioning yourself victorious long before you actually emerge, turns your dreams into reality. Many legends stressed the importance of creative visualization, to name a few, boxing legend Muhammad Ali used to see himself victorious long before the actual fight, Jim Carrey used to picture himself being the greatest actor in the world.
Start thinking of your personal goals and spend about 10 to 15 minutes picturing yourself achieving each one. You don’t need to spend endless hours. Simply get in the habit of visualizing yourself succeeding, achieving every goal, completing every task. See what it does to you and how it makes you feel.
Visualization bestows many benefits - it enhances your creative subconscious boosting your creative ideas. It activates the law of attraction, drawing all the resources to accomplish tasks. It also builds your internal motivation to take the necessary actions to achieve your dreams.
Some tips to visualize your goals:
1. Visualize your dreams vividly with all senses involved - Touch, sound, sight, even smell and taste
2. Involve your emotions, laugh, smile and celebrate the victory.
3. See yourself talking and dressing in the manner you want to be.
4. Picture yourself achieving goals with your own eyes as well as from other's eyes.
5. Include self-talk and say the things that you like to hear from other’s on achieving your goal.
