    - Metallic elements can be coated by the method of electroplating, metal cladding or metal spraying to prevent corrosion.

    - In metal spraying, metal in liquid form is spread on surfaces of the objects to be coated. Oxyacetylene flame is used to melt the coating metal. By using compressed air this melted coating metal is sprayed on the surface of the object.

    - In electroplating method, base metal is cleaned, pickled and washed. Cathode and anode are dipped in electrolyte and connected to D.C. Power supply. Thickness, brightness or adhesives of coating can be controlled by controlling the parameters such as current density, concentration and temperature of electrolyte, etc.
