Being a celebrity Kid- Boon or Bane?

Being a celebrity Kid- Boon or Bane?

Since last two years the one topic that has stayed all time favorite of media is Aaradhya Bachchan. It is obvious for media to cover all the news of Aaradhya as she is the grand daughter of famous celebrity Amitabh Bachchan. She is one of those celebrity kids who are born with the silver spoon in the mouth. The celebrity kids have all- the luxury, the name, the fame, the class and most importantly attention most people only dream of. In this world nothing comes for free. So what is the price that these kids have to pay for being celebrity kids? Are they really lucky to be born as celebrity kids?

Yes

1. Celebrity kids have everything they want right from the time they are born. They have designer clothes, world’s expensive products, huge mansions, vacations around the world and all the materialistic things of life. Suri Cruise, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's daughter is famous for spending a million of dollars on her designer wardrobe.

2. Aaradhya Bachchan has managed to grab attention of media every time she has come to public. It is something which is common with celebrity kids. . At a very young age they become the centre of attraction. Type their name in the search engines and you can see the stardom that they are blessed with.

3. It is easy for the celebrity kids to choose a career in their life. They have got a strong back of their celebrity family helping out in every decision. They have ample resources and money power to enter in the field of their choice.

4. It is said, "Money cannot buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Mercedes Benz than it is on a bicycle." This is the luxury that the celebrity kids are born with.

5. They can use the resources and influences of their celebrity parents in their favor. All these are really useful when they are stuck in a problem.

No

1. In the world of stardom they always stay in the limelight and are deprived of their privacy. When Michael Jackson passed away, his children Prince, Paris, and Blanket were unable to find a private space to mourn which was away from media.

2. Celebrity kids don’t enjoy their childhood like other kids. They cannot play alone in the gardens; they cannot enjoy road side food, and many other things. They loose their innocence as a child quite early. Take the example of Suri Cruise, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's daughter. A child who is just 5 years old is busy in shopping her designer wardrobe rather than spoiling her clothes playing in dirt with her friends.

3. They hardly manage to get their parent’s time. They are often looked after by the nannies. They get the luxury of money but have to compromise with the family’s time. Sometimes they choose the wrong path as there is no one present to explain them the difference between right and wrong.

4. Celebrity kids are at a higher risk of being kidnapped or harmed by external sources. The name and fame of their parents make them the favorite target of criminals. It is the reason why they always have security trailing them.

5. Celebrity kids have to face the constant pressure of comparison with their parents. They are compared with their celebrity parents and are expected to be as successful as their parents.

6. Even in some cases they are not free to make individual choices and have to follow the career as of their parents.

Conclusion

There are two faces of a coin. If life gives you reasons to smile then at times you have to face the tough times. No doubt celebrity kids have all the money to buy the expensive things but then certainly there is a price that they keep on paying in small tits and bits in their entire life.

  • People feel that being a celebrity kid is a prestigious thing. They feel a sense of respect and charm to carry on the mark of their popularity everywhere they go. In reality, roaming with the heavy name of a celebrity is more of an inconvenience than a charm.

With the kid’s point of view, they need to be with some guards to safeguard them from any harm. They fail to mingle with the other children as comfortably as others do. They always remain in the limelight, so lack the privacy in their life. Being a celebrity, they need to focus on work along with their studies. Many a times, they get in a fix when they need to choose between their studies and work, as both get scheduled at the same time.

From parents’ point of view, they always need to take special care of their children. Often they fail to see and feel the original emotion coming out from the core of the heart of the kid. Their innocence get lost somewhere into the world of limelight.

Though we cannot term being a celebrity as a total loss, as everyone demands attention in life. Every person strive to gain attention and popularity, which these children get too early in their lives. Though we can’t call it a boon, yet it’s not bane as well. Keeping a balance in life makes the celebrity kid cherish in all spheres of life.
