Film industry doesn’t have friends

Johny Lever made a comment some days back: There is dosti but no dosts in film industry. The comment is making a lot more noise in the industry. People are talking about it. The film industry is always considered as an artificial world that is full of glamour. Rest all the things in industry are myth. Johny said that the costars make the promises but never think it important to fulfill them. Do you agree with Johny Lever? Are there no friends in the film industry?

Yes

• All the people in the film industry are practical and just busy in fulfilling their own selfish interests and motives.

• If there were friends then why would the famous celebrities like Jiah Khan will commit suicide and end their career.

• Film industry is like any other corporate industry where professionals work to earn their living. And at professional places, competition exists!

• The celebrities have got huge egos which they don’t like to give up at any cost. The superiority complex always prevails.

No

• Film industry is very much like every industry where if enemies are there, friends are also there who are always ready to help each other.

• Even in the tough competitive industries, friends are always there. Professional world has also got friends.

• It is normal to have some sort of problems in all the relationships. It doesn’t means that there are no friends in industry.

• Friendship is there and therefore, many big stars make guest appearances in the movies without getting anything in return.

• Industry has many examples of strong friendship, like the strong bond of Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar.

Conclusion

Film industry is also a part of life. It is not something out of the world. It is formed of human beings and not aliens from some other planets. So, it is natural that the people will have friends as well as enemies. The only thing is film industry is more competitive industry as compared to others. And here the people tend to get the feeling of insecurity very soon. Still, despite of all things, it is like the outer world, where good and bad both exist.

  • Film industry also comprises of human beings, and they are no different from other humans. They do have the normal gestures and emotions. Film industry hangs around the professionalism which deals with acting and portraying. This is one of the main reasons that people fail to recognize and differentiate their true emotions from the one portrayed.

Film industry like any other industry has competitions, positive and negative personalities, egos differing from person to person. With such an image, anybody hardly could rely on what they visualize with these personalities. The superior ego of the co-stars makes them maintain their radius. This might be due to the ego or the insecurity of their status in the industry.

Still, when we discuss these personality being faking with their friendly relationship would be a harsh comment to talk about. They do maintain the friendliness at different levels as any other. Their way of interaction and communication may not be exposed to the actual world, and that is pretty acceptable, as they don’t need to share their personal life with the world and keep up their privacy.
