Rajya Sabha is a continuing chamber it is a permanent body so there is no duration for Rajya Sabha but once in two years one-third of its members will get retired. The Constitution has not fixed the duration of Rajya Sabha but it has made provision for the Parliament to determine the term of office of members of Rajya Sabha.
