Judiciary in India deserves a vacation

The request for a vacation for the judiciary in India has been rejected. We all need to have breaks in our life to spend time with our family, for mental peace and for relaxation. So does the judiciary in India also deserve a vacation? So what are the reasons that they are not able to go on for a long break?

For:

- Vacations will give them time to stay updated by reading books, helping them to gain new insights to solve the cases effectively
- They also deserve breaks to spend time with their family
- Breaks would also increase their productivity, as coming with a fresh mind they will be able to solve the cases more effectively and efficiently

Against:

- With over 300 crore cases awaiting a judgement in India’s courts, it is practically impossible for the adjudicators to go on elongated breaks
- Power and corruption may eat away the rights of the public if the judiciary in not functioning at all times and is on a leave
- If all of the judges go at the same time, then the judiciary work will come to a complete standstill. Instead of all lawyers going at one time, they could go on rotation.

Conclusion:

The judiciary also deserves a break, but instead of all going at one time itself, they should be granted leaves on rotation so as to the judiciary work will not come to a halt either and they will also be able to enjoy some time out with their family.
