a. Rs. 675
b. Rs. 950
c. Rs. 1200
d. Rs. 1464
e. Rs. 1872

ANSWER: Rs. 1464

Amar invests Rs. 1,00,000 for 12 months : Mohan invests Rs. 1,40,000 for 12 months : Sham invests Rs.1,60,000 for 12 months : Ramesh invests Rs. 50,000 for 4 months
Amar : Mohan : Sham : Ramesh = 30 : 42 : 48 : 5
Sham's share = (48/125) * 30,500 = 11712
Mohan's share = (42/125) * 30,500 = 10248
Difference between shares of Sham's and Mohan's = 1464
