United News of India is one of the main news agencies of India. It continues its work in cooperation with the foreign news agencies such as the Reuters etc. It began its operation on 21 March, 1961 and currently, it serves more than 1000 subscribers globally. It has also exchanged agreements with foreign news agencies such as Xinhua of China, WaM of United Arab Emirates etc. UNI was the first Indian news agency to serve the abroad subscribers in 1981. The services are available in English, Hindi and Urdu.
