Describe brainstorming for eliciting requirements.
Brainstorming involves a collective
session of all the business owners in a single room. It is necessary to have a
facilitator or coordinator who can ensure smooth execution of the brainstorming
session. In the sessions different people come up with different ideas and
perspectives about what they want from the system. This allows for
understanding a very broad view of the needed system. Brainstorming sessions
indicate what functionalities are needed by most people, and which are specific
and not that useful. It gives an idea of what’s useful, important, and not
those useful or not needed requirements
