Institutes for a course in Fashion Desinging

I am a student of 10+2 Science in New Delhi. I wish to make a career in fashion designing and would like to do so from a reputed institute. I have heard that NIFT is the best designing colleges in India and I shall be appearing their entrance test this year. However, the chances of getting selected in NIFT are not so predictable, and if not selected, I shall have to do a normal graduation which I want to avoid. Which other fashion designing institutes do you recommend in New Delhi? Please brief on their admission procedures.

NIFT is indeed the best for fashion designing students in India. However, if you take a look at the portfolios of the top fashion designers in India, you will find that not all of them hold an NIFT degree. There is many other fashion designing institutes now in India that offer the same level of competence and placement as NIFT. They offer various specialization courses just as NIFT. They conduct their own entrance test which decides the selection of students.
