Brand equity is the different assets which are associated to a brand's name and symbol and creates value addition to the company and its product and services.It comprises of :
a.Brand loyalty: which becomes evident through repeated buying of the product.
b.Brand awareness: tells us how many customers are exposed to the brand name.
c.Perceived quality: tells us what the customer actually feels about the product.
d.Brand Associations: how the customer associates himself with the brand.
